At Yule, a New Year beckons. With the dying of the Light of the old Sun, part of your own Light is also ready to die. And with the birthing of the new Sun, part of your own Light is ready to be born into this world of form! Allow the energy and wisdom of Yule to support your personal growth and evolution.
As Above So Below.
This is a time for letting go of all that holds you back. Can you identify those parts of yourself, your goals, and your path that need to be released with the dying Sun? The recent Eclipse Season has probably stirred your life up. I know it's shaken mine around! But hopefully now you're aware of what needs to be released . . . for good. Consider the habits, fears, beliefs, relationships, addictions, and worn out stories that need to die, if you're to move forward into the more empowered, authentic Life that you can feel calling.
Write them down, and burn them in your vigil candle tonight, if you’re going to hold vigil for Yule. Just burn them! NOW, is your chance to let it all go!
Alternatively, it may simply be that you need to choose where to more selectively focus your attention and energy. Saturn reminds us (yes, Saturn’s still very busy in the skies above) that you can do, be, and have anything if you’re prepared to work for it … but you can’t have it all. Not simultaneously, anyway. In order to reach the summit of your chosen path, you need to be willing to let other paths go so that you can focus your time and resources. In other words, what are you prepared to give up, in order to get where you want to go?
Finally, there may be areas of life that you thought had ‘died’. All may have seemed bleak, hopeless, and lifeless, and perhaps you’d given up on it. And yet, Yule reminds us all that just when we thought all was lost, something shifts and we realise it’s not too late. In fact, we’ve still got time! All is well. You can still embrace the path or the opportunity you thought you’d lost. The newborn Sun is coming!
As we prepare to midwife the rebirth of the Sun and its new Light, what new aspect of your own Light are you ready to bring into the world?
Hopefully, your mind is teeming with new ideas and new possibilities! Allow yourself to vulnerably, tenderly, and boldly dream into your new future, into new possibilities! With the coming of the new Light, plant your seeds in the rich, loamy, dark soil of Yule, the longest night of the year. Tonight is the New Moon energy of the whole, upcoming year! THIS is the night of New Year Resolutions and Intentions, here in the Southern Hemisphere.
What are you now strong enough and brave enough to start sharing with the world around you? Where are you ready to shine?? As they say, “Where you wish to be acknowledged, allow yourself to be seen.” Shine, beautiful people!
And so it is.
